  • Increase intake of fluids.
  • Increase antioxidants (sweet potato, cantaloupe, Brazil nuts, broccoli, spinach, garlic, greens, strawberries, whole grains).
  • Increase Omega-3 fatty acids (flaxseed oil)
  • Increase choline (whole eggs).
  • Increase docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) - from whole eggs and DHA eggs.
  • Follow a low sodium diet.
  • Try ginger tea for morning sickness (no more than 2 cups / day).
  • Omit foods containing alcohol, caffeine, and artificial sweeteners.
  • Exercise regularly.
