Knowledge You Need to Improve Your Long-Term Health

Why Test for Microplastics?

Plastic particles like phthalates, BPA, and PFAS are linked to cancer, hormone disruption, organ stress, and more. Testing your exposure gives you the power to take informed action before long-term damage occurs.

See Your Exposure

PlasticTest identifies the exact number, size, and concentration of microplastics in your blood. You’ll get personalized, measurable data—not just assumptions—so you can take targeted steps to protect your health.

Clinically Validated Accuracy

Your sample is processed in a plastic-free, CLIA/COLA-certified lab. The methodology is peer-reviewed, independently validated, and built to ensure zero contamination during testing.

Fast, Private Online Results

After registration, results are delivered directly to your OHS Health Portal. You can view them securely, track trends, and share them with your doctor or health professional.

Why we made this

You can’t fight what you can’t see. Microplastic contamination is a silent epidemic, and almost everyone has detectable levels in their body. But until now, there was no practical way to find out your personal exposure.

PlasticTest was created to change that—giving you a powerful, science-backed tool to measure your plastic burden and motivate meaningful change. Because the first step toward healing is knowing what you’re up against.

By offering this simple, at-home test, we’re giving everyone the ability to determine their own level of plastic exposure. Knowledge is power, and testing the level of microplastics you have circulating within your blood gives you the power to make a change.

Product Deep Dive

Deep Dive Information

The evidence of widespread microplastic contamination is beyond question. Study after study has found evidence that almost everyone is carrying detectable amounts of microplastics as well as their associated chemicals (BPA, PFAS, phthalates, etc.).

But what’s rarely discussed is how to measure this threat personally.

PlasticTest is the first blood test available to the public that allows you to do exactly that. It identifies the number, type, and size of plastic particles circulating in your bloodstream using cutting-edge imaging and sample analysis.

Exposure levels vary depending on diet (fast food and packaged food are common vectors), environment, lifestyle, and water sources. These tiny toxins build up and those contaminants are linked to a range of adverse health effects: Metabolic disturbances, endocrine disruption, immune response, inflammation, and more. Long-term exposure is associated with elevated risk of cancer, metabolic syndrome, and a host of other chronic health issues.

So if microplastic contamination is pervasive, the question then becomes: How much exposure do I have?

PlasticTest gives you more than just a number—it gives you clarity, accountability, and a roadmap for better health. It’s also the foundation for Plastic Detox protocols like Chemzyme and the Plastic Detox Pak, so you can take action with precision.

Reducing levels of plastic contaminants in your body is critical for minimizing health risks. Don’t wait to find out after the damage has been done!

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I buy one for another person to use?

Since PlasticTest is one individual per account, each person taking the test must have their own OHS account that their PlasticTest is bought under so the data will be properly linked with their OHS Health Portal. If you want to buy for another person, they will need a separate purchase made under their name/account.

How does the test work?

Using the included finger-prick kit, you’ll collect a small dried blood sample. Then, using the materials provided, send it back in the prepaid envelope. No lab visit is needed.

Is this a part of Nutrient RX order or separate?

PlasticTest is separate from Nutrients Rx, but the test results will be delivered to your OHS Health Portal, similar to NRx.

What are the specific plastics being measured?

PlasticTest screens for 7 common types:

  • Polyethylene (PE)
  • Polypropylene (PP)
  • Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET)
  • Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC)
  • Polycarbonate (PC)
  • Polyamide (PA)
  • Polystyrene (PS)
  • Polystyrene or "PS"
Who developed the test?

PlasticTest was developed by Arrow Lab Solutions, a leader in environmental toxicology research. Their methods are used in cutting-edge studies on microplastics in human tissue, organs, and fluids.

What are the specificity and sensitivity ratings of the test?

The test detects and counts every particle sized between 1–70 µm using advanced imaging technologies and rigorous lab protocols.

How often should I test?

We recommend an initial test, followed by a second test after completing a 90-day detox (such as the Plastic Detox Pak). Maintenance testing every 4–6 months is ideal for tracking progress and exposure trends.

What do I do if I test positive for high microplastic levels?

Start a detox protocol with Plastic Detox Pak, which contains Phthalazyme—the only enzyme designed to digest plastic toxins like phthalates. Also, reduce plastic exposure in your daily life: avoid heating food in plastic, switch to glass containers, and limit contact with plastic packaging.
